General
Following the success of the popular Venova, Yamaha now present the Alto-Venova. The YVS-120 is made from ABS plastic and can therefore be cleaned in between playing sessions. Since it's just as easy to play as a recorder, any beginner can take up the YVS-120. The Yamaha Venova offers the sound and pitch of an alto saxophone and is also particularly interesting for brass players who are familiar with standard recorder fingering. A matching alto saxophone mouthpiece is included.
Alto Venova: For Solo Performances or Collabs in the Key of F
The YVS-120 offers a 2-octave range in the key of F, as opposed to the regular Venova's C-key. Due to superb playing comfort, it undoubtedly makes a great addition to your collection of instruments. While this version is slightly larger than usual, the specially-rounded pipes keep the size of this innovative wind-instrument compact and more than manageable during playing sessions. It's light in weight and comes complete with a hard case.
